Translation

Certified Translations of Official Documents

Flat rate per page (birth, death, marriage certificates, diplomas, transcripts, etc.): $75

  • Includes certification statement, signed and sealed PDF.

  • Hard copies available upon request (postage fees may apply).

General Translation (Spanish to English)

Per word: $0.28 - $0.32, depending on subject matter and turnaround time.

This ensures adequate coverage for administrative processing, certification requirements, and delivery, even for short or single-page documents.

  • Rush/Expedited Service: For projects requiring faster turnaround, rush service is available. A surcharge of 50% of the standard rate applies, based on length, subject matter, and urgency.

Please note: No U.S. state authorizes Notaries to certify translations as an official act. In addition, certifying a translation typically requires the translator to sign a declaration certifying that the translation is accurate, then have the signature notarized.

Spanish to English Transcription

PDF vs USPS

  • Certified translations are delivered as signed and sealed PDFs via email.

  • Hard copies can also be mailed upon request via USPS.

  • Postage and handling fees apply.

Here are the steps I typically follow when translating:

  • Kindly provide a copy of the documents requiring translation, preferably in Word or PDF format. Additionally, please share any guidance you have received regarding the translation process.

  • Upon reviewing the materials, I will send you a formal quote that outlines the delivery date and associated costs.

  • You may accept the terms of the quote by submitting the full payment, for which I will include detailed payment instructions.

  • Once I receive confirmation of payment, I will begin the translation.

  • Personal documents such as birth, death, and marriage certificates are typically completed within 48 hours.

  • Upon completion, you will receive an electronic copy (PDF file) of your document for your review and records.

  • If you require physical copies, please inform me so that we can arrange shipping via USPS Priority service.
